Digital Photography Award Winner 2011
Alex Powell, year 7 Fairfield Intermediate, along with 5 other students entered by their art teacher (Nelda Halgryn) entered the international Hong Kong Digital Photography Competition. Alex won US$1000 and a trip to Hong Kong to receive the award.
Alex describes her work. "Capturing Eternity" : In my work I have used a clock and three mirrors. I have let some light go through because so it wouldn't look bright so it would look very dull. I have go eternity in it by having a clock going around and around because it means that time never stops.
