Storyboards for Diploma of Animation
This collection of Storyboards was generated by students studying the Diploma of Animation at Natcoll Design Technology, Auckland Campus.
The work shows sequences of hand drawn images developed under the guidance of Animation Tutor, Ian Lopez.
The project was developed for a 'real-life' California based company who approached the college for a short animated film that could be used as part of their marketing strategy for a new range of action figures.
The animation was given the 'go-ahead' based on these storyboards and was produced using Lightwave and Maya 3D software. The project was the student's group project for the course. It involved around 7 students over a 10 week period.
