Certainly makes think about read a-louds, when you read with pupils in your class, family members especially grand kids ... http://frizzleblog.scholastic.com/post/read-aloud-paper-or-pixels- Jason is doing fabulous work with the boys. I am sure they will be stronger, more centred as they grow up with a such a supportive and knowledgable mentor. You told your story well. My great great grandfather was at Parihaka as well. But there are no stories of his time there. I wonder why not?
