This is an article describing the opening phase of the How Haka Tells a Story, it was published in the Education Gazette and describes the process of generating a learning community to explore the concept of Performing Narrative [story telling as a physical act through Haka] as a preparation for the trial phase of development of resources to support the rollout of the Online performance venue UpStage
