About me
Based in Hawkes Bay, I am currently employed as a Literacy Facilitator for The Institute of Professional Learning at the University of Waikato. I am primary trained with over 20 years experience across the sector, including a strong background and passion for Literacy, collaboration, leadership and blended e learning. My role consists of facilitating In-depth PLD, mentoring and coaching in the Pfs ALL intervention, network and moderation meetings across the region, consultancy and facilitating Central North Island PCT workshops.
Exciting students to love and become curious about learning and literacy makes my day. I love breaking down the walls of the classroom, interacting and collaborating with the real world!
I love the VLN and would like to thank everyone on here for sharing and challenging ideas. The possibilities to develop inquiry practice and conceive authentic learning contexts are endless within this framework!
