About me
I am a Resourse Teacher: Literacy in Dunedin. With another colleague, we serve 60+ schools in Otago. Our children are all struggling in some way with literacy tho' the focus is often upon reading. I am endeavouring to become more knowledgeable and proficient technologically in order to to be a more effective teacher and to assist teachers......and I love it! Currently finding my way about VLN but already it has been a useful source and I'm recommending it to teachers.
Kia Ora Susan,
Welcome to the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Group!
The UDL group is a facilitated space with a wide range of discussions and resources.
A great place to start is to watch the video UDL at a Glance: /discussion/view/820983
Also the discussion on Examples of how various apps support UDL Guidelines is also a good way to make connections between UDL and current classroom practice.

I'm sure you have browsed around the group, I hope you will join discussions, ask questions and share your thoughts within the group.
I look forward to connecting online with you.

Kia ora Susan, thank you for joining the Southern Leading Effective e-Learning group. It is envisioned that these groups will become a central hub for a community of like-minded educators - focused on growing e-learning leadership, to impact change for our priority learners.
You might like to take a few moments to introduce yourself, tell us where you're from, share a photo or perhaps your mihi in this thread [/discussion/view/827584]. You might even like to liven your profile with a pic :-)
You might also be interested in conversations about 'what makes an e-learning leader' [/discussion/view/827584]. We'd love to hear your views.
These are great ways to establish and connect a community online, so we'd love to hear from you. Ngā mihi nui, Tess :-)
Kia ora Susan,
Welcome to the Enabling e-Learning: Teaching group. I'd like to invite you to join the Enabling e-Learning parent group [/pg/groups/118255/enabling-elearning/]. From here you can access the weekly e-learning round-up on the blog [/pg/blog/owner/group:118255] and see what's happening across the community. You can also see the event calendar [/pg/event_calendar/group/118255] and find out about professional learning opportunities each month. Can you share one or two professional details on your profile to help us connect skills and interests more easily? Looking forward to working with you!
