My name is Rob Rush and I am the Principal of Te Anau School, a decile 8, U4, school located in the heart of Te Anau - gateway to Milford Sound and Fiordland National Park.  I am new to Te Anau School, having started in Term 3, 2011.

I have taught in 4 other schools; Banks Avenue School in Christchurch (Year 5 class), St Joseph's School, Papanui in Christchurch (Year 7/8 class), Rangiwaea School as a teaching Principal (0.5 Year 4-8 class) and St Andrews School as Principal (U3).

I am married to my amazing wife Jane and we have three children, Reece 11yrs, Nick 8yrs and Amy-Jane,  7yrs.

In my free time I like to run, walk, bike, kayak read and cheer on my children from the sideline of their sporting event.
