About me

I have recently graduated from Waikato University's  through their Online Mixed media Presentation programme. I have spent the last three years studying online and have thoroughly enjoyed the challenges and the learning.

As a mother of four children I am passionate about intergrating ICT/IT into the learning in the classooom. It is my belief that to have students workforce ready and 21st century and beyond thinkers we need to use the tools, ideas and thinking skills in the classroom that are used in society today.

My ultimate goal is to promote and value learning as a rewarding lifelong experience. I see myself as a learner and find the experience enjoyable, and hope I can translate this into the classroom. I believe that the more personal we can make the learning, and the more authentic the purpose and audience, the more successful and enduring their education will be.
