About me

Kia ora, talofa, kia orana, malo e lelei, namaste and hello to you all!
I am a junior teacher at heart! I taught at kohanga reo for 3 years which was the greatest foundation to my education journey. I have worked only in rūmaki in mainstream schools across all levels but mainly in the junior school. I find it the biggest buzz when tamariki are able to show and tell you what they have learnt and they are excited doing this. As a kaiako knowing you have supported children's learning and understanding truly makes my day and makes me smile. Learning should be fun, simple yet challenging so we can keep pushing the boundaries of the mind. Currently I am a Māori Medium Facilitator and I love the opportunities this position has presented to me this far. I am very passionate about Māori culture, identity & language which I like to use as a platform for teaching.
Ngā manaakitanga

You might like to join the "Getting started on the VLN" group, here you will find a wealth of tips to help you get the most out of the VLN.

Each fortnight we put together the e-learning round-up on the blog, it is well worth skimming through to see the latest discussions and links, /blog/group/118255/all
