About me

Currently teaching Year 7/8 class and leading Senior Classes at Hautapu School.  Excited about learning and growth this year with a network of colleagues who aspire to learn, wonder and think about connecting to the 'big ideas' and bringing it to the floor level of learning and teaching.  It will be a wonderful opportunity to be able to understand and support my principal's role as well, so that roles can be shared and be sustained in leadership within our school.  Have had experience teaching in the UK for 7 years and NZ for 15 years.  Trained at Waikato University in the 80's. Enjoy dialogue, sharing and adapting :)

Hi Reshma, Great to hear from you:-). The 'matrix' is the e-Learning Planning Framework - it can be used for whole school planning as well as teacher review, and there are resources and a guide for its use, to go with it: http://www.elearning.tki.org.nz/Professional-learning/e-Learning-Planning-Framework2...does this help? :-) There are also threads running here in the VLN on its use too e.g. /mod/threaded_forums/topicposts.php?topic=307089&group_guid=53306. How's that? Cheers, Karen

Ohhh Reshma, what a lovely message to come and view! Every time I've worked with teachers in classrooms - it has been an honour and a privilege. Everyone is so dedicated to doing the best for their students.

If you're interested in conversations about enhancing learning conditions through the use of e-learning, then I'd thoroughly recommend joining the groups @ /pg/profile/Enabling.eLearning There's lots of conversations between educators about planning/strategic direction, teaching/learning and leadership. We'd also value your experience in these spaces. Hope to 'talk' again soon, Have a fabulous day, Tess:)
