Kia ora Rae, your welcoming message is very informative, thank you for sharing. Your school definitely sounds ready to 'pull all the pieces together'.

As well as support for the draft eLearning Planning Framework, I am here to help as an online facilitator in this community.

You can also get to know more about the VLN groups space (setting up profiles, dashboard, adding images, RSS feeds etc) by going to Getting started on the VLN @ /pg/groups/25604/getting-started-on-the-vln/

Please feel to make contact if you need any further support online. Tess:)

Kia ora. I am principal at Opoutere School and we are currently establishing a Strategic Action Plan around e-Learning to try and give new direction to our online learning environment. We are a small (120), rural school 8 mins from Whangamata.
We are particularly interested in forging more manageable and meaningful e-learning relationship (e-portfolios, school website, blogs etc) with parents. We are also very interested in modifying our Inquiry model.
We are lucky to teach in such exciting times. Our school is well resourced but we have become swamped with the tide of change so we want to review and adapt in order to provide specific, targeted programmes that do make a difference to student learning.

Kia ora and welcome to the e-Learning groups, Rae. I'm sure your experience and expertise will be valuable - can you share one or two professional details on your profile to help us connect skills and interests more easily?:-) I hope our growing community can support your learning, too.

Looking forward to working with you. Ngā mihi nui, nā Karen.
