About me
I am married with 6 children, the last of which are about to leave home - which is 1/2 hr SE of Rotorua at Rerewhakaaitu, with a lovely lake nearby. Currently I am DP at Rangitahi College, Murupara, where we have around 100 secondary students in a decile 1 community and the likelihood of amalgamating with the local primary school. I am also PL leader, Network Manager, ICT PD leader, Lead teacher for Volcanic Cluster (& VLN-C), Lead teacher for Rotorua Lakes ICTPD Cluster, Assessment & Reporting Manager & Curriculum Manager, & HoD for Science and Technology. Formerly I was ePrincipal of the CoroNet cluster for about 7 years, working across 8 schools and in collaboration with the other 12 national VC clusters - mostly sharing videoconferenced classes and a range of PD/PL programmes for staff development. I have started my Masters in Educational Leadership (researching Collaborative Leadership) and aspire to lead/co-lead a school in the future.
