About me

My two loves are learning and travelling.  

 
I work at a small, semi-rural school in Franklin, NZ.  Every day brings a new challenge - I don't think I've every had a "same day" before!
 
My new passion is ICT.   I love finding new ways to use ICT tools to help students learn.
 
Travelling around the world is my way of getting away from it all.  Although the teaching brain is never switched off, travelling to new places and experiencing different cultures keeps me motivated - I want "my kids" to know there is a lot of the world outside our little country town.  Sharing my experiences at school is one way I can do this.
