About me
Hi Carol, I've seen a start to your thought-provoking thread on, Does your school have a 'Thought' Curriculum? /discussion/view/862799?orderby=latest
I've posted a bit today, so people might feel like I'm spamming them :-) However, there's 726 members in the Enabling e-Learning teaching group, so I'm confident this will strike a chord with many others too.
Your post is extremely relevant, as we unpack the main themes like 'Personalising Learning' in research like, 'Supporting future-oriented learning and teaching' A New Zealand perspective @ http://www.educationcounts.govt.nz/__data/assets/pdf_file/0003/109317/994_Future-oriented-07062012.pdf
This section also shows a table that unpacks the, 'Deep and shallow expressions of personalisation through students’ engagement in shaping learning'. This relates closely to the article you shared in your post.
Second thoughts, maybe I'll jump in before the end of the week :-)
Thanks again Carol,
Smiles,
Tess:-)

Hi Carol. Welcome to the Quadblogging Aotearoa Group. Please feel free to offer suggestions and contribute to the discussions. And please spread the word.
Kia ora Carol, I've been thinking about our current thread on iPads in Education @ /discussion/view/695568 and thought about you.
I know you have been using iPads in the classroom and wondered if you might be interested in sharing some of the benefits and challenges they bring to this conversation? Look forward to 'seeing' you there, Smiles, Tess :-)
Kia ora Carol, Tess here. I wanted to thank you and acknowledge your contributions to the discussions in the VLN this past few weeks, especially your help with Garageband, this was greatly appreciated and saved me time! You are most welcome to download and add an Enabling e-Learning 'Member of the week' badge [/pg/groupcms/view/231460/] to your profile.
