Diana ReidI really like the idea of Tekkie Brekkies. My NAPP Inquiry used a mixture of the old fashioned buddy reading with using E Books and Samsung Tablets to improve 6 Year 9 Maori students asttle literacy scores. One of the aspects of the programme was to invite whanau to take part in buddy reading with their student once a week as well as using senior students who were aspiring teachers. The Year 9 students loved showing off their tech skills to their whanau member and together they enjoyed the E book experience.
