About me
I am a "Learning with Digital Technologies" facilitator, employed by the University of Waikato, working on the Learning with Digital Technologies project in the Te Toi Tupu Consortium. Based in Taupo, I travel to schools all over central North Island to help them build their capacity for blended learning.
After 33 years in the secondary classroom, and a senior manager for about 13 years, what an exciting time to be in education! A new paradigm of learning! The New Zealand Curriculum has allowed teachers to make the changes to ensure students are well prepared for life in the future.
I enjoy finding new ways to use ICTs to enhance learning and am particularly interested in e-portfolios, flipped learning, inquiry learning, and building capacity for independent, lifelong professional development for all.
I love to Google and am an authorized Google Education Trainer.

.....are thought provoking enough to stimulate a comment back straight away.
So, thanks again, keeping this Forum alive can sometimes be a challenge...but we love challenges don't we? :-)
