About me

Kia Ora one and all,

I have joined the Virtual Learning Network to continue to build connections across platforms, networks and professional roles.

I am Assistant Principal at a central city school in the beautiful Rotorua. My interests currently lie in the start up of Modern Learning Environments, individual learning pathways and using technology in the classroom in simple and transformative ways.

    Kia orana e Catriona,
meitaki ma'ata (thank you very much) for your lovely welcome and suggestions.
I have recently shifted roles and am now leading an e-learning initiative which is focused on connecting the remote cook island learners with a broader range of learning experiences across the curriculum.
I too am looking forward to connecting with other educators who are championing their own initiatives and striving towards a vision of equity in education for all.
    Kia manuia,
    Kristina Crouch

I see you have not yet joined any groups, maybe I could suggest some groups to help you get the most out of the VLN.

You might like to join the "Getting started on the VLN" group, here you will find a wealth of tips to help you get the most out of the VLN.

If e learning is your passion, you might like to join this group too. /groups/profile/118255/enabling-elearning/

Each fortnight we put together the e-learning round-up on the blog, it is well worth skimming through to see the latest discussions and links, [/blog/group/118255/all].

Looking forward to working with you online.

Is this you? Welcome to the VLN teachers community - this is a place that enables us to connect with other NZ educators in many different areas of interest. I hope this will be a good starting place for you.
    Rachel :-)
