About me

Hello!

I am a tutor at Yoobee School of Design. What I love most about teaching is constantly learning and passing on that knowledge.

I am also currently managing the Short Course Department at the Wellington campus of Yoobee. It has been so wonderful to be more involved with secondary schools through our STAR courses, and I have been totally inspired by the teachers and students who I have come into contact with through these programs. It's been interesting working on custom courses for Levels 1 to 3, and I am hoping to be more involved in creating achievement standards based courses and learning resources. I have so much to learn!

    Kia Ora Kate,
Welcome to the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Group!

The UDL group is a facilitated space with a wide range of discussions and resources.
A great place to start is to watch the video UDL at a Glance: /discussion/view/820983

Also the discussion on Examples of how various apps support UDL Guidelines is also a good way to make connections between UDL and current classroom practice.

I'm sure you have browsed around the group, I hope you will join discussions, ask questions and share your thoughts within the group.

I look forward to connecting online with you.

    Ngā mihi nui, nā
    Roxy

I see you have already joined an e-learning related group, maybe I could suggest some other groups to help you get the most out of the VLN.

You might like to join Enabling e-Learning /groups/profile/118255/enabling-elearning/ There are several more e-learning sub-groups you might like to join too for on-going conversations.

Each fortnight we put together the e-learning round-up on the blog, it is well worth skimming through to see the latest discussions and links, [/blog/group/118255/all].

If you want to know more about VLN/Enabling e-Learning community groups, you can view this webinar recording >>> http://

Looking forward to working with you online.

    Ngā mihi nui, nā Tessa.
