About me

I am currently the Head of Physics at Pakuranga College and I am hoping to contribute, share, use and collaborate with teachers and students outside Pakuranga College and Auckland.

After welcoming the values and KCs from the NZC and after beginning the process of integrating these into our units of learning, I have become focused towards developing critical thinking and metacognition in my classroom. The next steps for me to achieve my vision for Physics at Pakuranga College is to develop a community and network of students and colleagues from other schools to share videos, activities, competitions, ideas, activities and assessment opportunities. I want to work with anyone and everyone who shares a passion for learning and physics.

For a little background about myself:

Each fortnight we put together the e-learning round-up on the blog, it is well worth skimming through to see the latest discussions and links, /blog/group/118255/all
