About me
I am a passionate advocate for making learning powerful, authentic and engaging. I am currently teaching at Auckland’s newest Primary school - Hobsonville Point School, where a stimulating modern learning environment is paired with an inclusive, collaborative teaching and learning style.
Kia Ora Amy,
Welcome to the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Group!
The UDL group is a facilitated space with a wide range of discussions and resources.
A great place to start is to watch the video UDL at a Glance: /discussion/view/820983
Also the discussion on Examples of how various apps support UDL Guidelines is also a good way to make connections between UDL and current classroom practice.

I'm sure you have browsed around the group, I hope you will join discussions, ask questions and share your thoughts within the group.
I look forward to connecting online with you.
Ngā mihi nui, nā

Thanks for getting in touch. To register your students you just email me & let me know what you are interested in joining in.
You should first check out our Protocols for Participation to get an understanding of how we work.
As far as student choices go some classes are filling up so may not be able to confirm for this semester but can put on the waiting list. I can confirm immediate availability though for Mandarin, German, Cook Islands Maori & Afrikaans which we are keen to have a few more participate in. There is also our Health Project with Rosmini College, and these guys are also running one off (2 sessions actually) on Listen Up!
If you are keen to get involved with your kids then we also need to meet online so i can introduce you to our online learning tools.
Looking forward to hearing from you again
