About me

I am currently Education Director at The Mind Lab by Unitec in Gisborne.  I studied a four year Bachelor of Education Honors degree at the College of St. Mark and St. John, Plymouth, England, my final dissertation was concerned with the use of technology in the training of teachers.  Since then I have always been enthusiastic about the use of technology in the facilitation of learning and teaching.  I am a Authorised Google Education Trainer and in 2014 completed a MEd in E-learning through Massey University and was a CORE Education e-fellow..

    Kia Ora Tim,
Welcome to the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Group.

The UDL group is a facilitated space with a wide range of discussions and resources.
A great place to start is to watch the video UDL at a Glance: /discussion/view/820983

Also the discussion on Examples of how various apps support UDL Guidelines is also a good way to make connections between UDL and current classroom practice.
    /discussion/view/821206

I'm sure you have browsed around the group, I hope you will join discussions, ask questions and share your thoughts within the group.

I look forward to connecting online with you.

    Ngā mihi nui, nā
    Roxy

Tim, I know you're off to prize giving, but have messaged you in the doc, in case you didn't get it, it reads...

"Tim, this is all wonderful, - links out are perfect! People are often requesting ideas for Google Apps in ED and for secondary material, so you win the prize twice over...signing off with a virtual salute instead! haha"

P.S You might also want to upload the 'I took the challenge' badge from Enabling e-Learning as well [/pg/groupcms/view/231460/] and add to your profile - trifecta :-)
