About me
Kia ora
I was born in Chicago, Illinois in the United States of America and grew up in a village in northern Michigan amongst my extended family. Most of my education career was in Texas at the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired. I immigrated to Aotearoa New Zealand in 2004 with my partner, who's a New Zealander. I'm proud to be a teacher for close to 30 years and am passionate about learning and teaching alongside children and young people with diverse learning/teaching strengths and challenges and their whānau.
I'm very happy to join the Blended e-Learning Special Education team.
Kia ora Patrick - yes great to be on the VLN! Have been following the iPad group for awhile but didn't realise there was an UDL one until last night. Love UDL!
Kia ora Patrick and welcome to the VLN.
Nice to "see" you in the online space as well as face to face.
I see you have begun joining groups, maybe I could suggest another one to help you get the most out of the VLN.
You might like to join this group - /groups/profile/25604/getting-started-on-the-vln
it will help you find out more about the VLN and how it works.
Each fortnight we put together the e-learning round-up - you can read it here to get all the latest discussions on the VLN.
