About me
I am passionate about assistive technology and the ways that a variety of standard technologies can be used to support a wide range of students in any classroom. I believe that the combination of technology and universal design for learning has a huge potential to help many students who currently struggle to access the curriculum and remain engaged in education.
My teaching background is in secondary with the unusual combination of learning support with maths and geography. In my previous position I was the National Coordinator Assistive Technology at the Ministry of Education for a number of years. In that role I presented the CAT roadshows.
Welcome to the Digital Technologies group Lynne... dive into discussion and love to hear your thoughts.
Kia ora Lynne and welcome to the Blended e-learning Literacy group.
This is a group to support the e-Learning aspect of raising student achievement in literacy.
Do use the Group discussion navigation tab to join in and/or initiate discussion about the use of e-Learning to support literacy. Share your favourite tools or readings through the Group bookmarks or expand on this in the Group blog.
Remember, the best way to learn something is to teach it, so be active in this space and contribute your ideas to enrich the practice of all.
Looking forward to working with you online.
