About me

I am a leadership consultant living on Waiheke Island and I work, on the island, as an Adjunct Professor for Griffith University, with a few trips to Brisbane each year. I am the Academic Director of the New Zealand Aspiring Principals' programme for the University of Waikato and National Co-coordinator for Leadership and Assessment. I love living sustainably, growing my own vegetables and fruit,  catching my own water off the roof, using grey water for conserving water where possible, and contributing in every day small ways to sustaining our wonderful Aotearoa New Zealand and world. I run 'the beaches' and then work hard in my beach office and house on exciting, creative leadership initiatives. My thinking is inspired by my environment.

yes absolutely - and I have just written on it - perhaps I should have started a PAGE that said CREATIVE THINKING but we will see how it goes. Many thanks Roger, Jan

Morena Jan, I have made a Content heading Hui 2012 and a page Hui 2012 - you are a moderator in Kaiarahi so can edit Group Content - i.e. place things there that you see as important information that does not need others to add to.
The page is a shared page and we should all be able to edit it - good for collecting specific suggestions etc.
    Is that what you want?

Thanks Jan for those lovely comments, we can definitely connect some more online. I'm certain the NAPP team would also be interested conversations emerging in the Enabling e-Learning Leadership group @ /pg/groups/53306/elearning-leadership/ Your experience and expertise would be most valued there. 'Talk' again soon, Tess:)

Kia ora Jan, wonderful to ‘see’ you in the VLN. I thoroughly enjoyed the workshop that you ran last year with the Blended e-Learning Team on cultural responsiveness last year. I was the one asking questions about how being culturally responsive would look like online.

In turn, you might be interested in some of the work in the Enabling e-Learning groups @ [/pg/groups/118255/enabling-elearning/] as well as the e-Learning Planning Framework we have developed for schools [/pg/groups/19837/elearning-planning-framework/] You may also enjoy the weekly e-learning round-up on the blog [/pg/blog/owner/group:118255].

Hope to talk again soon. Ngā mihi nui, nā Tess☺
