About me
I am principal at Glenview School in Porirua. We are a small school surrounded by bush, so we say we are "an oasis amongst the bush" which gives us a nice ring.
I am married to Tony (over 34 years now!) and we have 3 grown children (Rochelle, Stephanie & Matthew) who all work in very different jobs.
We moved out of the family home after living there for 32 years, and have just built a brand new home in Aotea (Porirua)- 10 minutes from work. It comes with a wonderful view of the 2 arms of the harbour & the sea at Titahi Bay.
For the next while, I will be busy working on our section so my interest in books, knitting etc will be put on hold.
Kia ora Gaylene, thank you for joining the Central South | Leading Effective e-Learning group. It is envisioned that these groups will become a central hub for a community of like-minded educators - focused on growing e-learning leadership, to impact change for our priority learners.
You might like to take a few moments to introduce yourself, tell us where you're from, share a photo or perhaps your mihi in this thread [/discussion/view/827587]. This is a great way to establish and connect a community online, so we'd love to hear from you. Ngā mihi nui, Tess :-)
Kia ora! Well done you for getting into the Central South region: Leading effective e-Learning group! :-) Looking forward to seeing you at this 'hui' once we have our venue confirmed :-) Enjoy the rest of your week. Cheers
Kia ora Gaylene and welcome the VLN.
