About me

Hi I am a principal of a rural school just outside Oamaru in the middle of dairy country. I have a fantastic staff, really responsive students and an extremely supportive community. I am particularly interested in moving further towards 21 century learning. I am a PC guy that has let his iPhone convert him to having a soft spot for Apple. 2nd favorite toy is my iPad.

Me again...I forgot to say... the article you shared was nice and clear (good for NZ contexts). You might also be interested in the pros and cons debate in this thread. [/discussion/view/716171?orderby=asc]

We also have a LIVE FREE session on BYOD next Wednesday at 3.45-4.45, love to see you there. Tess :-)

Kia ora Gary, I've just seen your comment in the BYOD thread, thanks for that insight.

I see you're interested in 21st Century learning...so thought you might also like to join the main Enabling e-Learning group as well as the sub-communities listed - to browse current discussions about how/why/what of learning with technologies [http:///groups/profile/118255/enabling-e-learning].

We hope you can also join us for the last of the term 3 activities [/blog/view/694896/whats-on-in-term-3] and that you enjoy the weekly e-learning round-up on the blog [/blog/group/118255/all].

Looking forward to working with you online. Ngā mihi nui, nā Tessa.

Hi Gary, call in to see us, we're doing it over the hill. We just started this term and would love to play 'buddies' on this.
