Kia ora Frances, thank you for joining the Southern Leading Effective e-Learning group and for your intros online. It is envisioned that these groups will become a central hub for a community of like-minded educators - focused on growing e-learning leadership, to impact change for our priority learners.

You might like to take a few moments to introduce yourself, tell us where you're from, share a photo or perhaps your mihi in this thread [/discussion/view/827584]. You might even like to liven your profile with a pic :-)

You might also be interested in conversations about 'what makes an e-learning leader' [/discussion/view/827584]. We'd love to hear your views.

These are great ways to establish and connect a community online, so we'd love to hear from you. Ngā mihi nui, Tess :-)

Hi. My name is Frances Nimmo. I am a teaching principal and love learning with my colleagues and Year 4-6 class!
I have recently started working with Kathy Baker and our Malvern cluster on the blended e-learning (BeL) contract and am looking forward to realising the potential re. quadblogging with our students.
The Leading Effective e-Learning Leaders Forum is coming up soon and I'm really interested in seeing how I can build my capacity and contribute to the blended community. I hope to meet many of you on the 13th November at the forum meeting.

I see you have not yet joined any groups, maybe I could suggest some groups to help you get the most out of the VLN.

You might like to join the "Getting started on the VLN" group, here you will find a wealth of tips to help you get the most out of the VLN.

If e learning is your passion, you might like to join this group too. /groups/profile/118255/enabling-elearning/

Each fortnight we put together the e-learning round-up on the blog, it is well worth skimming through to see the latest discussions and links, [/blog/group/118255/all].

Looking forward to working with you online.

    Ngā mihi nui, nā Catriona.
