About me

I'm an Assistant Principal at an exceptional school in Auckland. I fundamentally believe we are all teachers and learners and that identifying this to our children is humbling and empowering. I am excited by using SOLO Taxonomy as a tool for helping learners control their learning, Design Thinking processes and the power of collaboration. Always striving to engineer better learning environments that enable learners to explore and make connections for themselves to raise achievement. I think, if we learn 'how' to learn, we have the potential to learn anything.

    Kia Ora Bridget,
Welcome to the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Group!

The UDL group is a facilitated space with a wide range of discussions and resources.
A great place to start is to watch the video UDL at a Glance: /discussion/view/820983

Also the discussion on Examples of how various apps support UDL Guidelines is also a good way to make connections between UDL and current classroom practice.

I'm sure you have browsed around the group, I hope you will join discussions, ask questions and share your thoughts within the group.

I look forward to connecting online with you.

    Ngā mihi nui, nā
