Miniature Miniature Worlds
If you have ever travelled to Victoria, BC Canada you will come upon a popular attraction called Miniature World and it was during their 40th anniversary in 2012 that I had the pleasure of being commissioned to build a virtual extension to their business model through the creation of what came to be known as the Enchanted Isle of Minutia.
The idea and goal was a non-violent interactive 3D environment that offered a sense of time travel to historic events and classic storybook fantasies linked together by a hiker's environmental land of intrigue and imagination.
It is important to note that although this project was part of a commercial business, this business in particular is one great dedication to aesthetic miniature recreations through miniature dioramas and displays. Many people never get a chance to visit Victoria BC, this project offers a new kind of virtual field trip that promises to engage the imaginations of visitors world-wide.
