We've become enamoured with computers and through video and photos we capture the world around us and share to one to all on a regular basis and yet we social network through 2D text-based websites.
Although truly free-form interactive 3D environments are still in their infancy and bound by bandwidth limitations, they still offer a principle core group experience that is both engaging and revelatory. When one experiences among a group in a virtual environment that sense of presence so familiar to us when we visit any place, we begin to realise that the notion of being inside a painting is quite a different perspective from viewing it as static plane on a wall. Creative possibilities begin to percolate in the seed of an idea that can revolutionize the depth of experience one can now share through imaginative 3D environments.
