Laos Teacher Training Fellowship, August 2018
Photos from our first teacher training Fellowship in Laos in August 2018. We have partnered with the Laos Ministry of Education and the British Embassy to deliver teacher training at the Ban Keun and Luang Prabang Teacher Training Colleges.
Our August Fellowship took a group of teachers from the UK and US to Laos for one month, where we delivered conferences for Laos teachers based on the Six Principles of Effective Teaching:
1. Growth Mindset
2. Professional culture
3. Preparation for teaching
4. Climate for learning
5. Teaching for learning
6. Assessment for learning
Our Fellows also had the opportunity to experience the Laos culture through a range of excursions on the weekends - from caving to swimming in the blue Lagoon to an overnight stay at an elephant conservation reserve!
