Science in the classroom

  • Public
By Kylie Allard

This term Newmarket Primary School students have been having a blast with science. We have observed a range of experiments using our senses, and we have been formulating questions. I want to share with you a few of our pics and some examples of how we record our findings. Some experiments we have explored in Room 9 are as follows:

Dissecting, seperating and labelling parts of an egg

Predicting how strong eggshells are

Heating sugar

Heating healthy and unhealthy foods

Combustion - a water balloon, fire and a wide neck glass bottle

Skewers into a bag

Bubbles

Orbs from Mars

Let me know what you think. Enjoy :)
