Hei mahi 1:

I ahu mai ‘Te Wiki o te Reo Māori’ i hea?  Rangahaua te takenga mai, te pūtakenga mai o ‘Te Wiki o te Reo Māori’. Ka whakaatu ā-waha mā tētahi ‘panahiko Kūkara’ tāu i kite ai, tāu i mārama ai.

Where did the ‘Māori Language Week’ originate from?  Research the origins, the establishing of the ‘Māori Language Week’.  Give an oral presentation using ‘Google Slides’ to share these findings.

Hei mahi 2:

Me wānanga tahi, me hanga tahi te akomanga i tētahi Puka Kūkara e kohi raraunga ai e pā ana ki te whai hua o Te Wiki o te Reo Māori. Ka kōrerohia tahingia ngā putanga, me te whiriwhiri āe rānei, kāore rānei ōna hua. Ina mutu ana te whakatau, ka whakapā atu ki Te Taura Whiri i te Reo Māori ki te whakatakoto i ngā kōrero nei.

Confer and create a joint classroom Google Form, to collect data about the worth of the Māori Language Week.  Collectively discuss the outcome and consider whether or not it has any merit.  From this decision, contact The Māori Language Commission and share these findings.
