Rangitahi College was pleased to have 4 staff present. Phil Buchanan (DP & HoD DGT), Amy Hemi, Risalie Villasan (Jnr DGT) and Mereana Himona (Snr DGT). This seminar will be the foundation for us to develop our own Dig Citizenship strategy and programme, for which an action plan is being formulated - to be implemented primarily at the Y9&10 level.

Rotorua Lakes Cluster

We are a cluster in Rotorua consisting of Rotorua Lakes High, Mokoia Intermediate, Whangamarino Primary and Rangitahi College.

Goal 1: Increasing the capability of students to become successful digital citizens
Goal 2: Principals to lead the integration of e-learning in their schools (strategic and operational)
Goal 3: Teachers to integrate e-learning effectively into their practice creating an innovative and exciting learning environment for all students
Goal 4: Family and whānau to actively participate in their child’s learning
Goal 5: The sector by sharing online professional reflections to inform colleagues of the challenges and opportunities afforded by e-learning
