Establish a strong culture of inquiry

 

Foster collaboration at all levels across the cluster, with a view to sharing current good practice and supporting each other in further learning.

 

Develop the capabilities and effectiveness of teachers in relation to elearning and its effective integration in practice

 

Teachers integrate elearning to engage students and effect better learning outcomes

 

Consider and implement a framework of thinking skills and self and peer assessment to inform the planning and implementation of teaching and learning programmes

 

  • Teachers effectively model inquiry and associated values and practices
  • Staff actively and collaboratively engage in professional development opportunities designed to support improvement in pedagogy
  • Teachers purposefully plan to integrate ICTs in teaching and learning programmes
  • Teachers include goals relevant to e learning and its application to practice in their appraisal process as appropriate
  • Teachers can articulate strategies to advance their professional learning.
  • Teachers support and constructively challenge each other.
  • An updated needs analysis for staff is completed available each year
  • Teachers reflective journals with records of development in integrating e learning considered in relation to registered Teacher Criteria
  • Students in school have an online presence e.g. personal blogs or wikis
  • A collaboratively agreed portfolio of thinking and continuum of self and peer assessment associated with an inquiry approach is implemented in each school

Tools to provide evidence will include a range of, but not be limited to curriculum plans, graphic organizers, assessment rubrics, blogs, reflective journals, co-construction hui, reflection placed on the cluster wiki, minutes, reports to BOTs, films, photo stories
