During 2011 we will aim to encourage:

• parents to comment on class blogs
• parents to use the parent wikipage and new school webpage

We will aim to provide:

• E-learning walkthroughs for parents and the community
• Parent information evenings about cyber safety, how to get involved with their child's blog or online learning

National Programme Goals - Schools will use e-learning to give effect to the New Zealand Curriculum/Te Marautanga o Aotearoa by increasing the capability of:

5. The sector by sharing online professional reflections to inform colleagues of the challenges and opportunities afforded by e-learning*

• School wide notices delivered online through Google Apps, extend to use of google calendar
• New website linked to classroom blogs, class wikis, school wiki, Tahunanui teacher wiki, parent wiki, Google Apps
• Principal blog
• Research video notices – media/web 2.0 tool to deliver in (potential to use green screen) – research into media suite
• Continue to research & trial e-portfolios for students
