  • Tessa Gray

You did it! First one to vote today WOOHOO!!

You know what to do... download 'Day 4 CHALLENGE WINNER' community badge (different from other days) and add this to your profile as well. http://bit.ly/1sx8I6q

Making friends in the VLN allows you to see when they post in the VLN. Notifications will come to your inbox, especially if you go >>> SETTINGS (top right hand corner) >>>NOTIFICATIONS >>> click on ALL FRIENDS for email notifications >>> click SAVE (at the bottom).

One more day to go! First one to complete will be the ultimate 5 Day CHALLENGE WINNER! Will it be you Mike?

  • Tessa Gray

Far out, you're fast at this game Mike! You got pipped-at-the-post only by seconds to become today's 2nd fastest voter.

However, you've still won another CHALLENGE WINNER badge, so feel free to download the 'Day 3 CHALLENGE WINNER' community badge and add this to your profile. http://bit.ly/1srSCLk

You might like to change the size of these badges to fit on the page, if you need help with that, just sing out :-)

The LIKE or thumbs up feature of the VLN really helps to profile posts people are reading, but not necessarily responding to. Do you like the LIKE?

Look out for tomorrow's 5 Day challenge, only 2 to go! You're in to be a 5 Day CHALLENGE WINNER!

  • Tessa Gray

Well done again Mike, you're very fast at this game! Again, you are one of the first to vote in today's 5 Day Challenge, so you've won another CHALLENGE WINNER badge :-)

You have successfully joined two new groups, so feel free to download the 'Day 2 CHALLENGE WINNER' community badge and add this to your profile. http://bit.ly/1nlU78H

You might want to decrease the size of these badges if you end up collecting all 5 and becoming the ultimate 5 Day Challenge Winner! Just sing out if you need any help with that :-)

    Big smiles,

  • Tessa Gray

Kia ora Mike, you are the second to vote in today's 5 Day Challenge. You are officially a CHALLENGE WINNER! Woohoo!

  • Mike Thornley

    Hi there,
My name is Mike Thornley and I have been Deputy Principal at Maeroa Intermediate for 5 weeks and 2 days. So very new! I have a passion for e-learning, so I am in partnership with our e learning director looking at ways for increasing the use of different devices in the classroom and supporting our teachers to try new and exciting things with elearning.

  • Tessa Gray

Kia ora Mike, thank you for joining the Central North | Leading Effective e-Learning group. It is envisioned that these groups will become a central hub for a community of like-minded educators - focused on growing e-learning leadership, to impact change for our priority learners.

You might like to take a few moments to introduce yourself, tell us where you're from, share a photo or perhaps your mihi in this thread [/discussion/view/827581]. This is a great way to establish and connect a community online, so we'd love to hear from you. Ngā mihi nui, Tess :-)

  • Catriona Pene

Kia ora Mike and welcome to the VLN.

I am part of the online team and we are here to support you and help you get the most out of the VLN community.

I see you have begun by joining some groups, maybe I could suggest another group to help you get the most out of the VLN.

You might like to join the "Getting started on the VLN" group, here you will find a wealth of tips to help you get the most out of the VLN.

Each fortnight we put together the e-learning round-up on the blog, it is well worth skimming through to see the latest discussions and links, [/blog/group/118255/all].

Looking forward to working with you online.

    Ngā mihi nui, nā Catriona.
