Thanks for the welcome Barbs! I lost my Google Identity when school changed over to domain recently. I had mistakenly used my school e-mail for a personal account about 4 years ago... ***sigh*** finding my way back! :)

We are Maungaraki School in Lower Hutt. 270 students full primary. We have a new principal who is very supportive so now the ground work needs to be done. You're in Hamilton. What's your role there.

  • eric pampalone

Thanks Barbara. Our school is just beginning the BYOD journey so we need as much information as we can get.

Hi Barbara, Andrew from LEARNZ here. Would be great if you could let the schools in your cluster know about our virtual field trip to Ruapehu next week. Registering with LEARNZ and field trip enrolment is free to all NZ registered teachers. It is going to be a fantastic trip in your own back yard! For more information go to www.learnz.org.nz. Thanks

Kia ora Barbara, we have created some community badges (/pg/groupcms/view/231460/) that show recognition to those who have actively participated in the Enabling e-Learning community groups this year.

Please feel free to download the badges that best represent how you have engaged on the EE groups - for example, "Member of the week". This can be uploaded to your profile page or any other online presence you have.

Again, thank you for your thoughtful contributions. Ngā mihi mō te Kirihimete and see you online in 2012!

Hi Barbara, how are you after Ulearn? I'm just wondering if I can ask a favour? We're after 30 top tips on what school leaders might expect (in terms of e-learning skills/knowledge) as they recruit new staff for 2012. What would you say is the one thing you would be looking for in a new applicant? http://bit.ly/vpfGr7

Let me know if you have any ideas on incorporating ICT with Maori. I have a few lined up involving the Easi-Speak linked with Paint that can be displayed on the Wiki.
    Alrighty, have a good day.

"Big Huge Labs" is a great idea for the banner, bet it would be easier too. Under pressure you always tend to forget the 'easy ways' :)

  • Paula Jamieson

Glad to see you got the hang of the photo banner, love it. Your Cluster one is equally as stunning.
