Holding regional hui in Paihia, Palmy Nth, Hamilton, Nelson, Greymouth and Timaru for Te Manawa Pou inductions this month, ka mau te wehi!!!!

  • Catriona Pene

That is awesome - saw they were all North teachers - it is great because Moana and I had just had a conversation about getting some of her teachers into the VLN - hardly anyone in Northland seems to know about it - and here you are doing just that - awesome job e hoa - i will meet nd greet them all!!

  • Catriona Pene

Wahoo - look at you go bringing all these wonderful new educators into the VLN! Tino pai rawa!

  • Renee Paki

Thanks Tamara, it was the only decent one I liked lol.

  • Michael Molloy

Changed the photo. Any other suggestions? Might need your help with my inquiry this year!

  • Rachael Coll

Kia Ora tamara, feel free to use our matariki wiki :-) thanks for message.

Kia ora e hoa, we have created some community badges (/pg/groupcms/view/231460/) that show recognition to those who have actively participated in the Enabling e-Learning community groups this year.

Please feel free to download the badges that best represent how you have engaged on the EE groups - for example, "Member of the week". This can be uploaded to your profile page or any other online presence you have.

Again, thank you for your thoughtful contributions. Ngā mihi mō te Kirihimete and see you online in 2012!

  • Jeanette Hinerangi Eruera Murphy

Morena Tamara...How can I access your online session today?

  • Paula Stokes

Kia ora Tamara, Sorry - I had great aspirations of keeping up with the course while being off work... However since Joe was born I have not even logged on! You guys are doing a wonderful job and the course is brilliant, I really should have kept on top of it. However I am loving being at home with wee Joe at the moment and really can't see myself giving it enough time, especially not having a class to use the resources on. I have loved reading what the others are doing in their schools and I am sure you are all excited about the success achieved so far. Keep up the great work, Paula

arohamai...i found the link for week 8. I didn't really understand what it meant not could i follow the lead of the subgroup. I think it meant for me to ensure i am commenting to the subgroup. And to leave a reflective comment, though im not too sure where to do this :)

  • Verbina Kopa

    Kia ora Tamara,

Im catching up with taumahi. I can't find the link for week 8. awhi mai maku koa :)

  • Karen Porritt

    Hi Tamara
I am just getting my head around the vln. Setting up the pages for our school. Is there any way of altering the order in which the sub pages appear. Thanks

  • Steve Zonnevylle

    Hi Tamara,
Do you have any great ideas about ePortfolios? We're looking at trialing a system in one of classrooms, but cost is currently a barrier (for this year anyway). Is it possible to use VLN as a freebie for our children?

  • Anaru White

Kia ora e hoa. He pai ake tāku mahi. Pēhea tāu mahi hou? Pretty flash Tainui Waka!

  • Dee Reid

Kia ora e hoa, I'm sure that the developers will be able to extrapulate that data for us, maybe check that on Monday after Week 2 mailout has been sent out? Another option, could be to scroll through newest members and 'notice' familiar names...but that will exclude teachers who were already participating in the VLN pre-Te Manawa Pou. We can kōrero more about this āpōpō nē rā? Mā taua wā :o)

  • Paula Stokes

    Kia Ora Tamara
I will be needing loads of help! We can't wait to have you visit the mighty Kirwee. Best of luck with the new job. P

Ohh, I'm not sure, but Suzie did say "I will admit that it took me nine attempts to get the banner size right. For anyone interested it ended up being 1250x125 pixels." Hope that helps doll.

  • Danny Bedingfield

Re Kia ora Danny-can you please set up the Aoraki clusters dashboard so any activity happening is on the group page, easily visible. Thanks!

No problem Tamara, what is the easiest way to do this? Thanks

  • Mel

Hi Tamara. Thanks for visiting SHPS Timaru and for sharing your good ideas. The other teachers joined the VLN today, so we are all go! Mel
