Kia ora Daphne and welcome to the Blended e-learning Literacy group.

This is a group to support the e-Learning aspect of raising student achievement in literacy.

Please do use the Group discussion navigation tab to join in and/or initiate discussion about the use of e-Learning to support literacy. Share your favourite tools or readings through the Group bookmarks or expand on this in the Group blog.

Remember, the best way to learn something is to teach it, so be active in this space and contribute your ideas to enrich the practice of all.

Looking forward to working with you online.

    Ngā mihi nui, nā Anne

    Kia Ora Daphne,

Welcome to the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Group!

The UDL group is a facilitated space with a wide range of discussions and resources.
A great place to start is to watch the video UDL at a Glance: /discussion/view/820983

Also the discussion on Examples of how various apps support UDL Guidelines is also a good way to make connections between UDL and current classroom practice.
    /discussion/view/821206

I'm sure you have browsed around the group, I hope you will join discussions, ask questions and share your thoughts within the group.

I look forward to connecting online with you.

    Ngā mihi nui

Hi Daphne, Our Clusters (Rotorua) are looking for someone to run PD around the new Tataiako document - your name came up. Does this fall within your current role, if not any idea who I could contact? Cheers

Hey Daph - your idea of tutu-ing your dash is a good one - why not post it in the VLN Website Development group and see what they say? /pg/groups/14/vln-website-development/ Kia ora. Karen

  • Karen Spencer

Kia ora, Daph. You can't change colours/themes on your dashboard, but you can select and move different widgets around. I like 'online users', 'discussions', 'blogs', 'friends' and 'groups' widgets myself;-)
