    Kia Ora Marnel!
Welcome to the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Group!

The UDL group is a facilitated space with a wide range of discussions and resources.
A great place to start is to watch the video UDL at a Glance: /discussion/view/820983

Also the discussion on Examples of how various apps support UDL Guidelines is also a good way to make connections between UDL and current classroom practice.
    /discussion/view/821206

I'm sure you have browsed around the group, I hope you will join discussions, ask questions and share your thoughts within the group.

I look forward to connecting online with you.

    Ngā mihi nui
    Roxy & the UDL Team

  • Tessa Gray

Kia ora Marnel, yes I was wondering how far people would get before they wanted to resize their badges :-)

You can go >>> Edit profile >>> Click on each of the images and then one by one, reduce the dimensions (width, height) proportionately and click Insert.

Let me know how you get on, otherwise I can Skype you through it!

Woohoo, you're on your way to being 5 Day Challenge winner!

    Smiles, Tess:-)

  • Tessa Gray

Nice one Marnel, fast to vote again today! Again you're a Challenge winner, so feel free to download the 'Day 3 CHALLENGE WINNER' community badge and add this to your profile. http://bit.ly/1srSCLk

If you need any help with resizing the badges (different each day), just sing out :-)

The LIKE or thumbs up feature of the VLN really helps to profile posts people are reading, but not necessarily responding to. Do you like the LIKE?

Look out for tomorrow's 5 Day challenge, only two to go!

    Smiles,
    Tess:-)

Hmm Marnel - wondering if you should have joined Central North? Did you see my email re the Connected Rotorua?
    Educamp - 22 February.

  • Tessa Gray

Kia ora Marnel, thank you for joining the Central South | Leading Effective e-Learning group. Your expertise will be highly valued in this group.

It is envisioned that these groups will become a central hub for a community of like-minded educators - focused on growing e-learning leadership, to impact change for our priority learners.

You might like to take a few moments to introduce yourself, tell us where you're from, share a photo or perhaps your mihi in this thread [/discussion/view/827587].

You might also be interested in conversations about 'what makes an e-learning leader' [/discussion/view/835077]. We'd love to hear your views.

These are great ways to establish and connect a community online, so we'd love to hear from you. Ngā mihi nui, Tess :-)

As you know, we’d like to 'thank you' by nominating you as a community member [http://bit.ly/1bI0bbE] for active participation in the Enabling e-Learning / VLN Groups. Hi Marnel. Welcome to the Quadblogging Aotearoa Group. Please fill in the google form with your details to take part. I will match your class up with classes of a similar age range as soon as there are four similar classes. Each blog will have a turn at being the lead blog for a week when the other classes will comment on it. I will embed a google doc with groups on when we get going. Please feel free to offer suggestions and contribute to the discussions. And please spread the word. See you Saturday?
