Description:

LRTT stands for Limited Resource Teacher Training. We are a social enterprise founded by teachers that exists to upskill and connect teachers from around the world. We are on a mission to create a future where every child has access to a quality education, regardless of the context they are born into.

We run teacher training Fellowships in 11 countries across Asia, Africa and the Caribbean, and we are always looking for NZ teachers to send on these Fellowships to facilitate and co-lead the teacher training. Teachers in the countries we work in have often received little or no formal teacher training, so our Fellows have a really important role to play in delivering relevant and practical teacher training in these countries.

Our January Fellowships are 3 weeks long, during the summer holidays (they generally run from 3 - 24 January).  These Fellowships are a fantastic way to share your skills with a group of passionate and like-minded teachers. You will travel with a group of up to 25 other educators from around NZ and Australia, and you will learn so much from each other, as well as from the teachers in the country you complete you Fellowship in.

If you are looking for a truly unique professional development opportunity, the chance to have an impact outside of your own classroom, the chance to experience education in a completely different context, immerse yourself in a different culture, and have an adventure while you're doing it, then we would love to hear from you!
