Welcome to the Leading Effective e-Learning group for the Central North region. This group has been set up to specifically meet the needs of local principals, senior management teams, e-learning leaders and teachers responsible for school wide priority learner groups - stretching across the Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawkes Bay and Gisborne regions.
This is our online space - to support engagement between ourselves in this region. The purpose is, to act together to effect change for a sustainable common future by:
- growing connections within and across LwDT schools and beyond
- sustaining e-learning development beyond finite LwDT contracts
- supporting teachers and leaders in growing sustainable blended professional learning communities
- being responsive to the needs of learners, schools and their communities.
It is envisioned that by engaging in responsive, professional learning opportunities (online and f2f), together we can all help to establish, connect and grow e-leadership that is sustainable across our region.
The main Leading Effective e-Learning group will make connections between the four regions - highlighting key themes and common trends at a national level.
So, please feel welcome to join us, introduce yourselves, share a little something and make this space your own!

A request has been brought forward to retain our Outlook Exchange email instead of using Gmail.
