Student artwork from schools has been on show at one of the Ministry of Education's head office buildings in Wellington since 2005.
New Zealand and international visitors have commented on the displays and the artwork that schools are producing. An on-line student gallery was set up so that more people were able to see them.
The Minister of Education, the Hon. Anne Tolley, is now displaying some of this artwork in her office. Shown here with the first work displayed - from Taita College
We would like to hear from schools that may want to display examples of their students' artwork in the Ministry and perhaps have the opportunity to have it exhibited in the Minister's office.
It may also be displayed on this website.
All artwork is returned to schools after the display period, which is usually 4-6 weeks.
Teachers who are interested in providing artwork will need to obtain written consent from their students.
