The Matamata DistrICT Cluster is based in the East Waikato and is made up of primary and intermediate schools in and around Matamata. Matamata is a thriving and progressive New Zealand rural town and district, famous for being home to Hobbiton, the Lord of the Rings movie set village. Like the movie trilogy, our cluster is keen to be at the cutting edge in our area of operation -education and learning.
