Thank you Paula and Otonga School for this incredibly detailed reflection - with sound data gathering processes. The feedback and analysis from parents, teachers and students make for some useful recommendations for 2012. Your school must be pleased and confident about the growing connections building between home and school - through the use of webspaces in your LMS.

There are some valuable key findings - not only for Otonga School, but also for other community members reading this story. This is well worth mentioning to others.

      Again, thank you Smile

Thank you for sharing you cluster story of in the VLN. It has clearly been a long journey and a rewarding one at that. There has been much to celebrate here - with many components coming together to enable staff and pupils to engage with learning through a variety of e-learning tools.

Having embedded video reflections from teachers, students as well as the principal, shows how successful these developments have been across the learning communities. I look forward to viewing future examples of ICT integration, which include a SOLO framework for thinking and reflection.Smile

To the team at Ngongotaha -

Thank you for posting such an effective and well detailed summary of your implementation of SOLO Taxonomy and SOLO differentiated planning, HOT Maps and self-assessment rubrics across all levels and all learning areas of the school.

You have made strong progress towards meeting expectations within Goal 3 for rasining student achievement through e-learning and SOLO Taxonomy - I believe the quality of the outcomes and opportunities  shared - in the photos and video - exceeds expectations.

I am certain that other schools wishing to implement a common language of learning through SOLO and HOT Maps and rubrics will find much to inspire them - they will also pick up some valuable suggestions and strategies for their next steps.

Great effort - effective use of strategies - strong outcomes

      Congratulations

      Pam

What a wonderful resource!!! I just love watching the energy and the independence with which these children engage with these devices.  I can't wait to see the development of the use of these tools within your classroom.

Look at the delight on their faces. Have you found any useful apps for the juniors that you might be able to share. We have a few but I am now looking for new ones to introduce.
