Week 2: ELLP, funding and programmes

  • Public
Last updated by Breda Matthews

Hi everyone

     Last week

We continued our discussion on ELLP and ELLP related resources.

Lots of teachers wanted to access Julie Luxton’s reading assessment materials and Julie kindly provided her email for people to request these.

We also discussed online programmes for vocabulary and other skills

And I reminded people of our online document outlining some useful tools. Teachers are invited to add to this doc again this year.

Julie also sent out a survey to see if there would be support to request assessment materials for Levels 1 and 2 of the EL standards. You can complete the survey by clicking the link in Julie’s email.

We also had a conversation about university entrance requirements for Thai students  - thanks to all of those who contributed links, and advice - it is so good to be part of such a sharing community.

    • Pasifika dual language resources

On other communities

English Online have been dealing with a question familiar to many of us about pressure from stakeholders to get a student with limited English schools through UE requirements. There were some interesting and useful replies.

Have a great week and keep those questions coming.

Kind regards
