Juliet Fry shared the latest PLD Newsletter. Lots to read with a focus on using the EAP standards and community engagement. Juliet also outlined changes to the dates for the upcoming Best Practice Workshops
 
Adele asked if New Zealand born students could use EL standards. Thanks to Julie Luxton for her swift and informative response.

Tokelau Language Week
Did you know that  the majority of Tokelauans live outside of Tokelau? So it is vital to encourage the use of Tokelauan language and to celebrate Tokelauan culture.

Primary ESOL Online - Janet shared her weekly update including some great links for Tokealau language week.
 
English Online discussed how to legitimately offer Restricted Films to younger students, through applying for an exemption for the censor.
