Hi everyone,

        I hope it is not too windy and wild where you are. I am sending my update out today as my lights are flickering and who knows if I will have power tomorrow!
Last week we had a few conversations as people surfaced from completing their ESOL/ AF funding. These included:

Literacy Online have discussed phonemic awareness
and who should collect data, make judgements and complete ESOL AF funding documents. Take time to check out Gaylene Price's highly informative post on this topic
Primary ESOL Online have discussed how to cater for students who are NZ citizens but who reside overseas and return to NZ for short periods of time
