Moodle course templates
If you are interested in using Moodle for your Maths courses but don't know where to start, or simply don't have time to build a course from scratch, we have good news! These course templates are free to use and modify, using a Creative Commons BY-SA licence. That means you can do what you like with them, so long as you provide attribution (to Maths & Statistics ICT Community) and "share alike", i.e. you put a CC BY-SA licence on your modified or re-shared version. These templates are free for everyone, whether you are a member of this community or not, and even if you're teaching overseas and want to adapt the courses for your own curriculum. Please do join the community though!
You can view the pages on a live Moodle site before you download, to check the courses and see if they will be useful to you. Then just download the file, import it into a new course (or just merge it with your existing course and tweak the resulting mess) in your school's Moodle site, and you're ready to go. Your school's Moodle administrator should be able to help with this process.
If you use a different Learning Management System, for example Ultranet, Schoology or Canvas, then you may not be able to import the course file directly. Of course you're welcome to just copy the contents of the courses by looking at the live versions.
When you import the courses into your own school's Moodle site, it will look right at home - the menus, colours, fonts etc should match the Moodle site you import into.
